Angie Radatti arranges Monday tee times for The Falls Monday Golf Guys--that is, the same guys who play on Tuesday and Thursday but who want to add an extra day of play to their week. Any Falls guy who has a USGA handicap and purchases an Eagle Crest Annual Pass is welcome to join.

Join an enthusiastic body-shaping class made up of a great group of “Falls” women who meet twice a week with one goal in mind….to get healthy and stay fit for everything else that happens in The Falls. Fit Chicks is spiritedly led by Dena Johnson whose background includes a BS in Exercise Science and an Advanced ACSM Certification. This class is energized by music and emphasizes strength, agility, balance, and fall prevention. Join other dedicated Falls ladies at the clubhouse and find out how much fun getting in shape can be!

Mah-Jongg has two groups of players in The Falls. One group plays Mondays at 9:45 a.m., the other on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Anyone who wants to learn the mysteries of this ancient and fascinating game may sign up at the clubhouse. Lessons for newcomers are conducted periodically.

This weekly knitting group, which meets every Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse craft room, has had a resurgence of members since its presentation at a Falls Dolls luncheon in January. A number of Afghan patterns are being started, a darling felted easter basket finished and given away, and mony other great project underwayu. Anyone who is interested in sharing this craft is welcome to join! For more information, contact Charlene Kenney.

Join friends and neighbors each Tuesday morning at the clubhouse for an hour of fellowship and conversation. Coffee hour is hosted by volunteers each week, and a sign up sheet is available for new volunteers.

Starting in April, Pin Pals will bowl on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Lava Lanes. This schedule will be in effect during Spring and Summer months. Contact Ed Scavinsky for further information. april, The Pin Pals will bowl weekly, at the same time and in the same place. This is recreational (not competitive) bowling. It's also Monte Carlo bowling in which you can win money by getting strikes when certain colored pins or combinations of colored pins are in "winning" positions. Be sure to arrive about 12:45 PM to allow time for paying, renting shoes, etc.

Please note early departure time. The Falls Dolls will meet at the clubhouse to carpool to High Desert Museum at 9:15. Mary Thornburgh has received as an honor for her participation in the American Cancer Society fund raiser FREE tickets to the museum, and she has chosen to offer them to The Falls Dolls. The trip will include a chance to shop in the Museum gift shop and to have lunch. Contact Mary for more information or sign up at the clubhouse.

Paul Blikstad, Senior Planner for Deschutes County, will meet with interested homeowners to discuss the proposed 90 foot cellular telephone communications tower tentatively planned for the top of Cline Butte. The meeting will be held at 1300 NW Wall Street, in Bend, 6:30 p.m., November 10 (Barnes and Sawyer Room of Deschutes County Serivce Center.

Doors will open and cards go on sale at 6:30 for the 7:00 p.m. Bingo games. Hal and Maggie Eisenberg will be in charge, with assistance from Betty McCormick and Pat Pipkin. Callers will be Dave Kassing, Milt Littlefield or Ed Scavinsky. Bring you own beverage and snacks to share. A packet of Bingo cards costs $10. There are also some daubers on sale, or bring your own. Come and enjoy an evening with friends and a chance to win big bucks.

The Finance Committee reviews all financial documents monthly, including both operating and reserve accounts. It makes recommendations to the Board of The Falls Owners Association as the needed changes to budget items. The Committee also prepares the annual budget for the association and works with the accountant to assure accuracy in all financial matters.
